Episode 3

Ji Dan calls his friend/boss the loan shark Kwang Cheol and asks him if he hired the girl for the night shift. The other guy thinks the president of the ‘company’ did, but told Ji Dan to stay put during the night shift anyway.

Well, only strange people come into this place apparently.

This guy seems to be some sort of monk or traveller who prays for people and they give him money for it? He seems to be on the odd side since Ji Dan doesn’t look convinced by what he said. He also mentions that the karaoke room is a place filled with energy that cannot leave and cannot stay. Some sort of place in between worlds.

Ji Dan meets his friend for lunch and they talk about the new girl and how Ji Dan doesn’t know anything else besides her being pretty.

That’s what I say! Ji Dan’s friend who-I-still-don’t-know-how-is-called is completely right!

Anyways his friend also has an application for another singing program audition but it seems Ji Dan has given up on that by having failed many times before.

Is midnight again and Ji Dan is sleeping, again, so he doesn’t notice when the girl comes in.

He tries asking her the common questions his friend asked before (ID, Age) but she dodges those and quickly changes the subject to something he was supposed to do. She does answer her name. She is called Min Se Ra. She says she is gonna guess his name by magic. And quickly guess Gong Ji Dan. He asks her how she did it and we have a flashback to his second audition program, where he failed. That’s how she remembers him.

That’s mean.

She asks him if he still sings and he says he doesn’t because of that humiliation (of the second audition) but that if you sing just because you like it, it will be ok.

Se Ra tells him that a lot of customers are coming before they are even at the door. They look like an idol group. Oh yeah, they are from Topp Dogg! Cool!

Then Ji Dan notices how she crosses doors without even opening them!

And just like that she is behind him.

And that’s where the drama leaves us hanging. I bet Se Ra is not dead yet, she must be in a coma and her heart went to Ji Dan because she was touched by his song. I’m loving the drama. There are a lot of funny little moments here and there!
